Cookie policy

This website uses a single cookie: the one that remembers the language you choose to read it in. We measure audience using Plausible, a cookie-free tool that does not identify individuals, and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking. That is why you will not see a cookie banner.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Among other purposes, cookies can remember your preferences, keep you signed in or measure website use. The term also covers equivalent technologies, such as browser local storage and tracking pixels.

02

Cookies used by this website

This website uses a single cookie, technical and necessary, which stores the language you want to read it in. It does not identify visitors, is not shared with third parties and is not used for advertising or audience measurement.

NEXT_LOCALERemember the language you have chosen, so the website is shown in it during your visit and on later ones.1 yearFirst-party

It is only stored when the language shown does not match the one your browser asks for — that is, when you choose a different one. Its content is nothing but the language code, “es”, “fr” or “en”: no identifier, no profile, no record of your browsing.

As a cookie strictly necessary to provide a service you requested yourself — seeing the website in the language you chose — it is exempt from the consent requirement in Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE). That is why the website does not display a cookie banner: there is nothing to accept or reject. You can delete it at any time from your browser, as explained below.

Apart from that cookie, the website does not install any other, first-party or third-party, or save information in your browser’s local storage.

03

Cookie-free audience measurement

To understand how many people visit the website and which pages they view, we use Plausible Analytics, an audience measurement service provided by Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia) from servers in the European Union. Plausible does not install cookies or use browser local storage, does not identify visitors and does not track them across websites or devices.

Measurement is based on aggregate data: page visited, referring website, country, device type, browser and operating system. IP addresses are used only temporarily to distinguish visits within a single day and are not stored. Because no information is stored on or read from your device, this measurement is not subject to the consent requirement in Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE). The processing of this data is described in the privacy policy.

The measurement script is loaded from Plausible’s servers. You can prevent it from running with a content blocker or by disabling JavaScript in your browser, without affecting the website’s operation.

04

Cookies we do not use

This website currently does not use:

  • First-party or third-party analytics or audience measurement cookies: the measurement described above is cookie-free.
  • Advertising, ad personalisation or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • Social media cookies, or embedded third-party buttons or content that install them.

The fonts and resources used by the website, apart from Plausible’s measurement script, are served from our own infrastructure. If we introduce cookies requiring consent in the future, we will update this policy and request your prior consent through a mechanism that makes accepting, rejecting and configuring them equally easy.

05

How to manage or delete cookies

You can allow, block or delete cookies from any website — including this one’s language cookie — through your browser settings:

06

Cookies and personal data

The language cookie contains no personal data: it stores the language code and nothing else. The processing of technical browsing data and audience measurement data is described in detail in the privacy policy, which also explains how to exercise your rights.

07

Updates to this policy

This policy may change if the cookies used or the applicable law changes. The current version will always be the one published on this page, with its last update date. If you have any questions, you can email privacidad@numantica.com [provisional].
